Cæsura 2024: neighborhood

$20.00 USD

From nostalgic to futuristic dwellings, the theme Neighborhood asks us to examine several related sub-topics such as conformity vs. nonconformity, social justice, tribalism, perspective, inclusivity vs. exclusivity, objectivity vs. subjectivity, environment and our relationships to one another and seeing how this creates a domino effect in our universal consciousness. I have enjoyed reading this gathering of moments and characters; What our neighbors give us for Halloween is very telling to their character, how a mother recovering from cancer shows her son it will all be okay by playing basketball out in their driveway, and how a hit and run victim stops to take out a personal ad. The reader will surely be inspired by the well traveled heart of a pirate in the centerfold interview. Also, the art in this issue will take you on an emotional journey as it captures a multitude of moods and landscapes. I’m very excited to present to you our issue, Neighborhood.
