Full Contest Guidelines

Eligibility: Open to all work not previously published. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. Contest open to all writers except current Poetry Center San Jose board members and family members of the judges.

Entry Fee: $10 for each entry of three poems.

Multiple Entries: Enter as many times as you wish, with a separate fee for each entry.

Maximum Length: None.

Submission Period: August 17, 2009 through October 17, 2009.

Format: Typed on white, 8 ½ x 11 paper, single-sided and formatted as you want it to appear. Include the title only on the upper left corner of each poem. Do not staple copies together. Include a separate cover sheet with the titles of your poems, your name, address, email address, phone number, and a short (50-words) bio.

Notification: Winner will be notified by email by January 31, 2010.

Publication: All entries will be considered for publication.
