Cæsura 2017 Call:
Where is ORDER in DISORDER. Where is DECENCY in WRECKLAMATION. Where is the CONFLICT in RESILIENCE, the PAIN in RECOVERY. Where is the point between FEAR and COURAGE. Where is the meeting of TRUTH and PROPAGANDA. Where is finding in OTHERS the REVELATION of SELF. Where is the intersection of ASSENT and DISSENT. What lies at the crossroads of ASCENT and DESCENT.
ASCENT || DESCENT
CŪSURA CALL: Tell or show where you are, where we are, in ascent or descent. You may submit 3 works of poetry, and you may submit 3 works of visual art. The editors will judge from blind lists. From these submissions, two unique versions of Cæsura: Ascent || Descent will be created, a print version and an online version.
OPENS: April 1, 2017. CLOSES: July 15, 2017 for general public and July 31, 2017 for PCSJ members.
POETRY: Though we focus on poetry, flash fiction, non-fiction and short essays are welcome. To increase the number of works printed, we encourage poems of 32 lines or less (longer will be considered, but not to exceed 64 lines). With prose we encourage 320 words or less (longer will be considered, but not to exceed 650 words). Please submit in .doc or .docx format.

SUBMISSION RULES: Send your cover page and each submission as a separate attachment, in a single email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
